Counsel and associates

Rather than maintaining a large standing roster, the firm works with a considered group of counsel and associates whose expertise matches the matters we take on. For a constitutional challenge that means researchers who can work with primary constitutional materials; for a criminal defence it means practitioners with genuine trial experience.

Where a matter benefits from expertise the firm does not hold, we say so and bring in the right person — a specialist advocate, an expert witness, or a firm we work alongside. Clients are told who is working on their matter and in what capacity.
